Governor Lray Villafuerte ’s realization of a dream for his people, and his land, is truly amazing. CamSur the extreme sports capital of the country has gained popularity. And many famous wakeboarders from Europe, North America, and other parts of the world became frequent visitors of CWC (CamSur Water Sports Complex). But the dream didn’t just stopped there. There’s more in CamSur worth visiting; the warm and friendly locals, the festivals, and the beautiful islands and beaches.

Caramoan ’s one of the many reasons why one should choose CamSur as a vacation destination. And so an exhibit was opened to present and boost the beautiful island of Caramoan. It featured well-known photographers Jun DeLEON, SaraBLACK, PaoloPINEDA, JakeVERZOSA, Jo AnnBITAGCOL, and MarkNICDAO. CaramoanX6 Exhibit launched last Friday at Greenbelt 5. Cocktails were served and an auction of some of the pieces. Profits of the exhibit will go to the CamSur (Camarines Sur) education fund.

SHOULD I SAY MORE? My heart was broken so early in the morning. I woke up around 6 and found out that Daniel was already up, and was so busy sketching the bedroom floor.

This photo was taken on our flight back home. The skies was just heavenly perfect. I wanted to see angels. But guess that would be scary huh? Besides Daniel was so frisky inside the plane. I’m grateful for the ever reliable PSP, kept him still at some point. The PSP and food kept him busy and quiet on his seat.

 These were my notes for my good old Canon 350D. Sometimes terms are best remembered when you have them on those little yellow post-it’s. Then it’ll be easier for the things to sink-in. Well, works for me!

P           -  Program AE (Auto Exposure)
TV        -  Shutter-Priority AE (Time Value)
AV        -  Aperture-Priority Aperture Value
M          -  Manual Exposure
A-DEP  -  Automatic Depth-of-Field AE

P           -  General Purpose Shooting Mode
The common automatically sets the shutter speed and aperture value to suit the subject’s brightness.

TV - A FAST SHUTTER speed can freeze the motion of a fast moving subject, SLOW SHUTTER speed can blur the subject to give the impression of motion.

AV - A LARGER APERTURE opening (Lower f/number) will result in a blurred background –> ideal for portraits
A SMALLER APERTURE opening (higher f/number) will make more of the foreground fall within acceptable focus. ( A smaller aperture opening increases the DOF)

*DOF - The lighter the f/number, the darker the view finder will look.

ISO - Setting the ISO Speed
the Higher ISO Speed Number indicates a higher sensitivity to light –> suited for low light and moving objects

*ISO - numeric indication of the sensitivity to light
