Caramoan ’s one of the many reasons why one should choose CamSur as a vacation destination. And so an exhibit was opened to present and boost the beautiful island of Caramoan. It featured well-known photographers Jun DeLEON, SaraBLACK, PaoloPINEDA, JakeVERZOSA, Jo AnnBITAGCOL, and MarkNICDAO. CaramoanX6 Exhibit launched last Friday at Greenbelt 5. Cocktails were served and an auction of some of the pieces. Profits of the exhibit will go to the CamSur (Camarines Sur) education fund.

SHOULD I SAY MORE? My heart was broken so early in the morning. I woke up around 6 and found out that Daniel was already up, and was so busy sketching the bedroom floor.

DANIEL KNOWS HIS way to the Royce’ stalls in Greenbelt 5. And if we’re holding a tight budget, husband and I, would find other routes to stay away from Royce’. It will only take a few minutes for both, father and son, to gobble up a box of Baton Cookies. And I’m not complaining. Royce’ chocolates and cookies are so addictive. I love the bitter Bitter Nama chocolates. So bitter but taste so heavenly. It’s an experience once you savor the bitterness, and suddenly feels the coldness of the tiny square inside your mouth, then the luscious taste of chocolate.

Which is healthier Frozen Yogurt or Ice Cream?

Ice Cream ’s prepared from products such as; milk, cream, fruits, flavorings and other ingredients. And I think commercial ice creams used artificial flavorings and colorings as well. All ingredients are mixed and processed in a manner that would turn it into it’s creamy form. ** Ice cream comprises milk fat (10-16 %), milk solids (9-12 %), sweeteners (12-16%), stabilizers and emulsifiers (0.2-0.5%), water (55-65 %), which comes from milk or other ingredients.

And Frozen Yogurt ’s prepared from yogurt, rather than cream. ** Frozen yogurt comprises yogurt culture, milk fat (comprises about 0.5-6% of yogurt), milk solids (form 8-14% of yogurt’s volume), gelatin, sweetener, coloring, corn syrup and flavoring.

Both IceCream and FrozenYogurt is said to be nutritious with amounts of calcium, riboflavin, high quality protein, and some other essential vitamins and minerals.But ice creams’ said to contain more of fat content by weight, while frozen yogurts are low calorie and non-fat. And the best part is, the yogurt’s probiotic content. Probiotic content means good bacterial content, which helps boost the body’s immune system, enhances digestion and is also believed to lower cholesterol levels.However, a great amount of sugar is added on frozen yogurts, which makes it not as healthy as the regular yogurt.

So there. That’s the nutritional facts in scientific explanation. haha

We should take care of our body. Healthy food is best. Let’s be cautious of whatever it is we put through our mouths into our stomachs. And so the cliche goes, More of everything is bad, a little of everything is bad. Balance is the key!

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a waterfall in your FarmTown farm? I could buy ponds and rivers, or purchase Farmtown Cash to get lakes. But no waterfall for sale. Yet, we can always keep the imagination working and the hands busy. Land elevations and waterfalls in FarmTown ’s just a matter of layering pieces of dirt paths, rivers, trees, hedges, and etc.

By means of arranging the river pieces on top of each other we can make a waterfall.

First, take a river corner.

Place four, or more, dirt paths on top of the river piece. The idea is, river/river corners can only be placed on top of the grass or a dirt path.

Then, set another river corner on top of the dirt paths.

Remove dirt paths when the river piece is already in position.

Repeat the same technique for another cascade, until you reach the desired height of your waterfall.

Then, you can add lilies on your waterfalls, ponds, rivers, or on your river banks.

A great joy it would be for a mother to have observed her child’s potentials. A great pain in the head it would be to see your white painted walls and furnitures all covered up with crayon markings. ohh we’re not in college yet. Little Daniel had to go through alot of stages of self discovery. So here we are in the phase when little boys and girls love crayons and make artworks all over the house.

No spanking please, and screaming. Explain house rules. And get a rug to wipe off the mess. Crayon markings and stains are easy to remove, your child’s interest and  potentials should be nurtured.

But it’s not just plowing, planting, and harvesting, or making your farm huge. Farm Town unleashes the artist in us by making our farms beautiful. One of my favorites are lilies on the water. But you can’t just plant the lilies or any flower on top of a pond or the river. My friend Dinah, a FarmTown-genius, taught me this trick. These are the steps to do the trick;

First, you put the flower. Choose your flower and plant it on the grass. (Here, I had Lilies right from the store and Lilies that are fully grown. The trick works for both.)

Then go to Preferences, and uncheck the “show flowers” option.

Refresh your browser.

And when you enter your farm again you won’t be able to see the flowers. Now place the river/pond on top of where the flowers are supposedly planted.

Go to Preferences again, Check the “show flowers” option.

Refresh! and there.. Lilies on the water, where it should be.

There so many flavors to choose from. My favorite, the Nutella, a Chocolatey Hazelnut flavor. At Gelatone’s, you can order it on a scoop right out from a glass display right outside the shop’s door, or if you choose to stay inside their cozy tiny place the waitress will bring it in for you. Also they have frappes, pastas, and other yummy stuff on their menu.
