Marciano’s

February 14

I am really not that mushy, Valentine-day type of person. But it’s still heart melting when husband comes home with roses and etc.  (Thank you Babe ko., love you)

And so we had a valentine lunch at Marciano’s ;)

Unique and classy describes Marciano’s. The elegant decor of black chairs and walls and ceiling of mirrors impressed me. The restaurant ’s said to be inspired by the great Italian American boxer Rocky Marciano, who was the heavyweight champion of the world from 1952 to 1956.

The menu of Italian New Yorker cuisine’s mouth-watering. We had Autumn in New York with shrimps, squid, grapes in honey Balsamic dressing.. Bendel’s lobster and sweet corn risotto.. Park Avenue seared salmon with fennel whip potatoes and green peas.. And for dessert, the rightly sweet Dulce de leche ice cream pie.

My only complain would be the slippery floor. My baby’s chair easily glided on the polished floor.
